Farmers' Fair!

Come one come all to the Farmers'Fair! I'm going to try to keep this brief (you know how hard that is for me). Brandon and I have had a busy week preparing for the second annual Farmers' Fair which will be held tomorrow from 10-10 in Covington, KY. We are really looking forward to this. There will be a large farmers' market from 10-4, educational booths (including your's truly with backyard chicken and beekeeping info), local restaurants selling delicious food made from locally grown products, speakers, live music, children's activities and on and on and on. Check out the website for directions and more information on activities. http://www.farmersfair.org/ I will be there with pasture raised chicken for sale and I will have one of Brandon's backyard chicken coops for you to check out. I will also have some beekeeping equipment (no bees!). We are particularly excited about the tasting event that will start at 5:30. The local restaurants have paired with the farmers to create dishes using our locally grown products. Come and try Molly Malone's Irish stew made with our lamb. Yummy!

That's all I have time for tonight. I've got to get back to preparing for tomorrow. I hope to see many of you there. You might even get the chance to meet my rather elusive husband if you are lucky.
